About the Publisher
Cage & Mirror Publishing is the imprint of Jeremy McEntire. The titles span organizational theory, software engineering, leadership, privacy, and applied reasoning. Each applies structural analysis to problems that defy conventional advice.
The central framework — The Cage and the Mirror — applies Gödelian incompleteness theory to formal organizations, arguing that the same formalization that enables coordination at scale creates irreducible blind spots. The cage is the structural constraint. The mirror is the meta-compliance architecture that lets organizations navigate it.
McEntire spent two decades in software and systems architecture, working as chief architect and CTO across early-stage startups and larger technology environments. He came to organizational theory through necessity: observing intelligent people in well-designed systems systematically degrading their own capabilities.
